
Star Trek Lower Decks: The Badgey Directive is a simulation idle game for mobile devices co-developed by Mighty Kingdom and East Side Games. Set in the Star Trek Lower Decks universe, the game has the player complete holodeck simulations as they build up their crew and partake in the Lower Decks crew's various intergalactic shenanigans.

I joined the team towards the end of my duration at Mighty Kingdom, working with the design team to upkeep their balance spreadsheets and create an entirely new balance to be used for future game events.

Designing and iterating on a new balance
My primary responsibility was to design, playtest and iterate upon a new balance which made its debut in the main event "In The Flesh Cage". As part of this, I worked to balance the levels and currency players could obtain within the event. This also included creating reward objectives that needed to encourage players to regularly check back in and obtain rewards at a rate that was reasonable across the entire event duration.
